Miramar Beach is located about 4km from Panaji, and is a lovely stretch of beautiful glistening golden sand facing the azure waters of the Arabian Sea. Originally known as "Gasper Dias Beach", this is also the point where the Mondovi River meets the Arabian Sea. This beach is regularly frequented by adventure seekers, honeymoon couples and beach lovers. The beach also offers a great opportunity to engage in dolphin sighting tours.

Calangute Beach( 16 Kms / 45 Min, From Panaji)
Thronged by thousands in both peak and off-season, is one of the enchanting beaches in Goa. The sudden rise and fall of the waves here are a particular delight for experienced swimmers. Perhaps, the overall beauty of this beach, located 16km from Panaji, has led it to be termed as the "Queen of Beaches'' it's also one of the best beaches for swimming, and is always flooded during day time with both tourists and locals looking to have a good time.

Baga Beach is located about 19km from Panaji, and lies in close proximity to the Calangute Beach. This beach offers mesmeric views of sunsets and sunrise. However, the main attraction of this place is its happening nightlife; this beach is also the hub for various adventure sports like parasailing, jet skiing, boating and banana riding.

Sinquerim Beach( 13 Kms / 40 Min, From Panaji)
Sinquerim Beach is counted among the best beaches of Goa. Located about 13 km from Panaji, this uninterrupted stretch of firm sand stretches all the way to North Baga, allows visitors to take long refreshing walks at sunrise and sunsets. Here, tourists can also enjoy a variety of water sports, from parasailing, waterskiing, scuba diving, windsurfing and fishing.

Vagator Beach(21 Kms / 55 Min, From Panaji)
Vagator Beach, the most photographed beach of Goa, is a wonderful arc of sand located about 21km from Panaji. Its part of the 30km stretch of beach coastline along the west coast of Goa. A few open air clubs also attract a lot of visitors to the beach.

Anjuna Beach (23 Kms / 1 Hrs, From Panaji)
Located about 18km from Panaji, is one of the most popular beaches of Goa. This place is also popular for hosting full moon parties during New Year and Christmas. A major attraction of this beach is the Flea Market, which takes place on Wednesday of every week.

Ashwem Beach (31Kms / 1 Hrs 15 Min, From Panaji)
Ashwem Beach, situated about 31km away from the capital city of Panaji, is the best place to witness the scenic white sand beaches of Goa. It's a wonderful experience to taste the Goan delicacies served here. Swimming is another activity greatly enjoyed by the visitors to this beach.

Arambol Beach (37 Kms / 1 Hrs 20 Min, From Panaji)
Arambol Beach is counted as one of the best beaches in North Goa, and for various reasons. Located about 37km from Panaji, it's also known as Harmal Beach. One can approach this beach by a winding road through a grove of cashew trees.The main part of the beach, which is a long stretch of curving sand, is the perfect place for swimming for family and friends.

Betalbatim Beach(11 Kms / 27 Min, From Margao)
Among all the Goa Beaches, Betalbatim is one of the least crowded beaches in South Goa. This Beach is also renowned for the St. Thomas church. Nicknamed the Sunset Beach, the view of sun going down the horizon in the evening is one of the most breathtaking sights you will ever witness in your life.Relax on the warm sands of the beach. Varca Beach (4 Kms / 10 Min, From Benaulim)
This Beach is famous for its incandescent beauty. Located about 4 kilometers from Benaulim, this beach is also one of the cleanest shorelines in Goa. Varca Beach is also the home of Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin. These water beauties inhabit the Arabian Sea waters and can be seen from the beach itself. Cola Beach(28 Kms / 55 Min, From Benaulim)
Cola is well known for its lagoons and beach. This spectacular beach is away from maddening crowds. The perfect getaway especially if you are looking for some quiet time. Located about 15kms away from the Palolem beach, this beach is not easy to get to. One needs to walk past the hills to reach the beach. This is known as one of the hidden beaches in South Goa.

The Betul Beach is a pretty beach and it also is a fishing port. River Sal flows close by and the blue lagoon here is an absolute delight. This fishing village enjoys a nice climate year long and this makes it one of the pleasant beaches in south Goa.
